The Easiest Chocolate Bundt Cake
Cake:
1 box dark chocolate cake mix
1 (3.9 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding
1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
3 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
2 cups chocolate chips
Glaze:
1 cup chocolate chips
2/3 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 350ºF and generously grease a bundt pan.
In the bowl of a stand up mixer, fitted with the paddle attachment, combine all cake ingredients, except for the chocolate chips. Mix on low speed for about 30 seconds before raising the speed to medium. Mix for about 1 full minute. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the cake is set. Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes before inverting onto a plate or wire rack. Cool completely before applying glaze.
While cake cools, add the heavy cream to a small saucepan over medium heat. Once the cream begins to simmer, lower the heat to low and add the chocolate chips, whisking until fully melted and mixture is smooth and shiny.
Allow glaze to cool for about 10-15 minutes before pouring over cake.
