Matcha Almond Milk

Matcha Almond Milk

An easy alternative to dairy milk that takes just a few minutes (minus the soaking) to prepare! Make sure to stock up on a nut bag from Ellie’s Best and don’t forget to use promo code beautifulbites for 10% off your entire purchase!

  • 1 cup raw almonds, soaked in cool water overnight

  • 4 cups water

  • 2 dates, pitted

  • 1 tsp. vanilla

  • 2 tbsp. matcha powder

  • pinch sea salt

  1. Add soaked almonds, water, dates, vanilla and salt to a blender and blend on high until smooth (at least 1 minute).

  2. Strain the milk using a nut milk bag over a large jar or pitcher. Squeeze the bag until all liquid has been pushed through.

  3. Transfer to jars or bottles and store in the refrigerator. Milk will stay fresh for up to five days.

Recipe Notes:

The almonds can also be soaked for 1-3 hours in very hot water to avoid the overnight soak.
