Gluten Free Marbled Chocolate Banana Bread

Sometimes even bakers need a break!! Give this easy banana bread mix a twist and add cocoa powder to your batter for a flavor fusion.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9“x5” loaf pan with parchment paper leaving an overhang on two of the sides.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine the oil, eggs, and warm water, whisking until smooth. Add the banana bread mix and gently stir until fully combined.

  3. Divide the batter in half, placing the other half into another medium bowl. Add the cocoa powder to one of the batter bowls and gently mix until fully incorporated.

  4. Using two spoons, alternate scooping the cocoa batter and then the plain batter into the prepared loaf pan. Once all of the batter is in the pan, take a knife or offset spatula and swirl the batter using a figure-8 motion. Repeat about 3 times until batter is evenly swirled.

  5. Bake bread for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

  6. Remove from oven and allow loaf to fully cool before slicing and serving.
