1 cup butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. almond extract
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. almond extract

Add sugar, egg, vanilla, and almond extracts and blend until smooth.
Next, add the flour and baking powder and incorporate by hand using a wooden spoon.
Chill dough for at least 1 hour. Once chilled, preheat oven to 375° F and roll out on a floured surface to about 1/4” thick. Cut with cookie or biscuit cutters and bake for 7-10 minutes. Transfer to wire rack and allow to cool.
